Check your Cash Back
Pending Cash Back and bonuses aren't paid out from a deleted account. Rakuten recommends waiting until they're confirmed before you delete. Pending Cash Back typically takes 3 to 14 weeks to confirm.

Log in to the account you want to delete
Sign in to the Rakuten account you're deleting. If you have several, make sure it's the right one.

Open Privacy Preferences
Go to Privacy Preferences in your Account. For security reasons, Rakuten may ask you to log in again.

Select Delete my account
Select Delete my account and confirm. The account is removed from Rakuten.

Choose what happens to your Cash Back
You can receive your remaining confirmed Cash Back balance, sent through your current payment method, or delete immediately without receiving it.
Watch out for
- Deleting an account can't be undone, and you lose access to everything in it.
- You can't log in afterwards to see Cash Back, payment history, linked credit cards, favorite stores or other account information.
- Only confirmed Cash Back can be paid out. Pending Cash Back and bonuses are lost if you delete before they confirm.
- If you have no payment method set up and want your balance, set one up before deleting.

What stays out there
Deleting your Rakuten account closes that account. It doesn't remove your details from data brokers or marketing lists that may already hold your name, email and shopping profile.
